Configuring Yealink to receive the number from the parked call
This page reorganizes the operational steps for Configuring Yealink to receive the number from the parked call.
CallerID can be sent from the server to the phone in several ways and with several formats. The options available are:
- FROM field
- PAI
- Remote Party ID
This last one is the most used one and the one offering the best integration between devices. When an extension has been configured with "Trust RPID", it is possible to receive the callerID of the phone connected. This is especially important when a call is pickup from the Parking Lot.
Due to the different protocol available, it is important to configure also the phone to pickup the correct one. For example, using RPID-PAI-FROM from the Advanced menu.
